Invoice2go is a web and mobile invoicing platform for small businesses, contractors, and freelancers. Existing users sign in through the Invoice2go account page; customers normally open the invoice sent by the business and use its Pay now option when online payments are enabled. This independent guide is not affiliated with Invoice2go or BILL.
What is Invoice2go?
Invoice2go combines invoices, estimates, client records, expenses, projects, reports, payment options, and mobile access in one service. It is available through a web application and apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
Use the correct Invoice2go login
The current account screen has Email and Password fields, a Forgot password? link, and a separate sign-up route for people without an account. Invoice2go also supports access from another device through its mobile apps or web application. Its support instructions recommend Google Chrome for web access.
A normal web login can include another step. After the email and password are accepted, Invoice2go may send a six-digit verification code to the account email. The web screen then shows a Verification code field, a Remember this device checkbox, and a Confirm button. Marking a computer as trusted reduces future verification prompts on that device.
One detail matters. A trusted device does not carry into a separate incognito session. Invoice2go says a user who trusted a normal browser window will still need two-factor verification in an incognito window, and an incognito trust lasts only for that session.
Do the page check first. Skip password changes when the real issue is a new browser profile, private window, cleared cookies, or unrecognized device.
Fix a blocked account before resetting everything
Invoice2go can temporarily block an account after several consecutive failed sign-in attempts. Its help page identifies the on-screen message as “Your account has been blocked after multiple consecutive login attempts” and says an email titled Login Attempt Blocked is sent to the account email address.
Open that message and use Allow login. Then return to the account page and try again. If the message is not visible, Invoice2go directs users to check spam or junk folders.
Wrong fix.
Repeated attempts can keep the user focused on the password when the immediate problem is the temporary block. If the unblock message never arrives, use Forgot Password on the Invoice2go account page. The password-reset screen asks for the email address originally used to sign up and provides Send reset link.
Invoice2go also says automated recovery mail can be filtered. Its troubleshooting article recommends adding the Invoice2go notifications address to the email provider’s safe-sender or contact list before requesting another reset. Do not send account credentials or verification codes to an unofficial support page.
Send an invoice and let the customer pay
Invoice2go is designed around a simple business-to-customer path: create the document, send it to the client, and collect payment through an enabled method. Online payment settings are managed in the app’s client payment options. Once the business enables online payments, the sent invoice displays Pay now for the customer.
The customer does not need the business owner’s Invoice2go login. The customer opens the invoice and completes the payment flow made available on that document. After an online payment is received, Invoice2go records the transaction in the app and reflects it in reporting, reducing the need to match that online payment manually.
Deposit requests are separate from ordinary full-payment invoices. On the web invoice-creation screen, Invoice2go documents Add deposit request, Percent (%) or Fixed ($), a deposit amount, a due date, and Save. The customer may then pay the requested deposit or the full document amount. A completed deposit is reflected in the document’s transaction history and outstanding balance.
Prioritize payment setup before sending the invoice. Skip promises about timing or cost until the specific method has been selected because fees, eligibility, and payout speed differ.
How long do Invoice2go payments take?
There is no single payout time for every Invoice2go payment. The payment overview says transaction fees and deposit times vary according to the payment method accepted. Available choices can include card payments, bank transfer, and PayPal, with availability varying by account and region.
Invoice2go Money Card Payments are documented as usually taking one to three business days from payment to availability in a linked bank account. The same help material says payments can remain pending while being processed, usually for two business days, and that transfers are not processed on weekends or bank holidays.
Invoice2go also offers a feature named Instant Payouts for eligible accounts and payment types. Its current help page lists a 1% fee with a $1 minimum, in addition to standard card-processing fees. The payout must meet the account’s transfer limits, and PayPal payments are excluded. Card funds may become eligible within minutes after a successful transaction; settled ACH payments typically become eligible after roughly two to three business days.
Fast is not universal.
The public US pricing page currently lists card-payment rates of 3.5% on Starter, 3.0% on Professional, and 2.9% on Premium. Verify the rate shown inside the account before enabling payments, particularly when the business operates outside the United States or uses a different payment provider.
For businesses using Stripe, Invoice2go identifies Stripe as a PCI Service Provider Level 1 processor. PCI DSS is the payment-card security standard relevant to card-data environments. This does not remove the merchant’s responsibility to review disputes, refunds, and the payment terms attached to the selected processor.
Compare plans without relying on old reviews
Invoice2go’s US pricing page currently shows Starter, Professional, and Premium. It advertises plans starting at $5.99 per month and a 30-day trial. The page says a card is required to start the trial and that subscription fees are avoided when the trial is canceled within 30 days.
Plan limits matter more than the headline price. The public comparison currently shows 30 invoices per year on Starter, 100 per year on Professional, and unlimited invoices on Premium. Recurring invoices appear on Premium, while estimates and projects are listed across the three plans. Features and prices can change, so confirm the live comparison before purchasing.
Third-party pricing pages often preserve older plan names or amounts. Use Invoice2go’s current pricing page as the source for the available offer, then check the purchase screen before submitting an order.
Canceling a subscription and keeping account data
Invoice2go says subscriptions can be canceled through iOS, Android, or the web, and access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. Cancellation stops the following renewal; it does not create a refund for unused time remaining in the current term or for a prior lapsed term.
The purchase channel controls the cancellation route. A subscription bought through an app store is managed through that store, while a web purchase is managed through the Invoice2go account. Do not assume deleting the mobile app changes billing.
An expired subscription causes the account to be deactivated. Invoice2go says the stored account data is not deleted merely because the subscription expired, unless the user requests deletion. The account may be reactivated by paying the subscription fee after expiration.
Export business records before making major account changes.
Contact Invoice2go support
The Invoice2go Help Center offers a Submit a request route and a Chat with us option. Some plan features may also include phone support, as shown on the current pricing comparison.
A useful support request states the screen or feature involved, the visible error wording, the device and app or browser, when the problem began, and whether it also occurs on another device. For payment questions, identify the payment method and transaction status without including sensitive payment or authentication information.
Invoice2go FAQ
How do I log in to Invoice2go?
Use the Invoice2go account page with the email connected to the account.
Why did Invoice2go block my login?
Several consecutive failed attempts can trigger a temporary block. Look for the Login Attempt Blocked email and use Allow login. If it does not arrive, check filtered folders and use the Invoice2go Forgot Password process rather than continuing repeated attempts.
Does a customer need an Invoice2go account to pay?
No. The customer uses Pay now on the sent invoice when the business has enabled online payments.
Is Invoice2go free?
Invoice2go currently advertises a 30-day trial and paid Starter, Professional, and Premium plans. A card is required for the trial, and the company says the trial must be canceled within 30 days to avoid subscription fees.
Can Invoice2go send money directly to my bank?
Supported online payments can be paid out to the linked bank destination, but timing and fees depend on the payment method, account eligibility, processing status, limits, weekends, and bank holidays.
Why am I asked for a verification code again?
The browser or device may not be trusted, cookies may have been cleared, or the login may be occurring in an incognito session. Invoice2go states that trusted-device status in a normal browser window does not remove verification inside incognito mode.
What happens to my invoices after cancellation?
Cancellation keeps the subscription active until the current billing cycle ends. If the account later expires, Invoice2go says it is deactivated and the stored data remains on its servers unless deletion is requested.
